The Original Foundation is Poland’s first independent, modern think-tank specializing in the creation and implementation of food policy, in particular so-called food quality policy. The Foundation’s field of interest also includes the subject of local development, pro-development use of the potentials of rural areas, strengthening the role of local authorities in development policy, promotion of the agri-food industry and high quality Polish food.
We develop an analysis of the impact of EU, national and self-government development policies on the economy and the social sphere, in particular in rural areas. We prepare economic and social analyzes in the field of the CAP as well as in relation to national food policies – for both public and private entities.
It is important for us to create and co-create a public debate in this area – both through the evaluation and implementation of solutions proposed by public administration, the economic and social spheres, ending with our own legislative initiatives.
